Increase in Unfair Dismissal High-Income Threshold.
Employees who earn more than the high income threshold and who are not covered by a modern award or enterprise agreement are not able to access the unfair dismissal jurisdiction. The following changes were effective from 1 July 2017:

Increase in National Minimum Wage
The national minimum wage has increased by 3.3%. This is the minimum weekly wage payable to employees who are not covered by a modern award or enterprise agreement. The following changes were effective from 1 July 2017:
